Afternoon light dancing down  my side
I remember and yes I remember
Walking down those cobblestone streets
Summer wind on my cheek
Heated concrete caressing the slippers on my feet
A timeless experience alone I came to seek
As orange hues play a majorette's hand
A precursor to a celestial parade of an evening's band
Enticing smoke from briquettes set afire
Light my senses like fireworks in the sky
Casting feelings into stone 
Like reigns of good rulers and kings...their memories never die 

Shadows

I scream but no one hears

In this place..crushed and solitary...an auditorium of fear
A forgotten cemetery for the living soul

Decorated with pillars made from tears that they stole

I am the ghost that haunts these desolate fields
It is me who wanders and reads forgotten epitaphs of broken dreams

Scouring mausoleums for moments long time gone

Tapping on their walls for residual emotional yield

The sanctified and blessed they pay no attention to this voice
Condemnation taste like candy to their lips because other's lives are their toys
The fire and brimstone...the judgement of the throne  they teach
Drains you more of hope just like how blood is sucked by a leach  

Thus lost and weary will  my existence may be spent
Graves and headstones are my only consoles...my cohorts...my friends
In a hollowed burial ground of dead wishing wells
I'll carry on the haunt until I am brought to the place I was ment

Ritual

I saw you beneath the moonlight’s brow

Feasting…gnawing...forbidden

Bathed by the flowing night

You frolic at what is hidden

Fleeting movements that you designed

To cover and reel over

Dark claws raised to spite

Praying not to be discovered

Like a witness to a ghastly sacrifice

I cower…I flounder

As I move to peek from behind

A  desecration a great desolation

Titan's Garden

The skies in your eyes radiate like rubies

Your smile...secret as the first of morning rays

You walk with me in the garden so humble

Mere mortals under an everlasting gaze

You held my hand as the clouds turn lightning purple

As the crust under my feet become seared and hazed

As desolation horribly crept down like a spider

To wrap me in a shroud...my grave 

But we danced violently in a hurricane of stars

Our footprints merged in roads twisted and curled

As storms pass by...tired...I whine...I mumble

But you're with me still...I'm safe...I'm fine...I'm humbled

Pilgrim

Images lash out like the sea into a harbor

My hate diluted into a goblet of wine

As it poisons my unwilling resisting mind

To wallow…to be earthbound

Resentful to fate’s design

Treasures sacred yet like a temple set to be defiled

A tortured mythical beast set loose

These pictures so set to terrorize…wantonly…yet in  great strides

A passerby on the road

On a lonely trek to Apollo’s shrine

Rooster

Could not create…could not resolve

Farewell reign of anguish
The flowers beneath your feet lay trampled and blown

The times that I laid beside you

Are gone like a thousand years in a guillotine’s stroke

Upon which your arrows and maces... merciless and enchanting
Pierce his flesh and breaks his bones
To bring him down to die a lowly infantryman's death
Bloodied and mangled in this battlefield of regret
